Tornado in London

Thursday, 7 December

Strange weather in London today - we actually had a small tornado hit a northern suburb not too far from us. Our flat felt like a carwash for bits of the morning (with the addition of hail and lightening) with all the rain beating against the windows. Beatrice was nonpulsed; she took it all in stride. Given the storms and the intervening "spots of sunshine", as the weatherman said, we mostly stayed indoors today. We lazed in bed and made faces at each other, and later on in the day played dress-up with our little doll. See her below as Santa elf - she wasn't pleased.

In the evening our friends Karina and Diego came over and brought Beatrice a present and brought us real Argentinean empanadas...yummmm. We all had a great time, and Beatrice was a perfect angel for them.

In the evening we Skyped with Grandma Elizabeth and Grandpa Bill in Georgia. Beatrice put on quite a show then! Lots of entertaining faces and head rolls. All in all, another very good day.
