Beatrice is settling in nicely, and on Thursday seemed to have already read the 1946 edition of Dr Spock that her grandmother Elizabeth sent us - e.g., 4 hour feeding schedules, crying times and quiet times, etc. A perfect baby! The midwife came to visit us at home - besides a little jaundice and some weight loss, Beatrice is right on track. She is long though! Who knew I'd ever have a tall child?? She is definitely her father's daughter - same nose, same forehead and hairline. A few pictures to give you a sense of who she is and her size - look at those long skinny feet!
