Merry Christmas

Monday, 25 December

Merry Christmas! We had an exciting day. Santa dropped off presents for Beatrice, though she was more enthralled with Uncle Graham.

And today Beatrice is 4 weeks old. She celebrated by wearing her new fancy Christmas dress and playing a bit with her bear. And yes, her legs are that long!
We spent the morning opening presents. Like Graham's low-tech iPod made of cardboard?
After a great breakfast of bacon and eggs (made in Zack's new cast iron skillet that Mom and Dad hauled all the way from Georgia!), we ventured out for a walk around the neighborhood. First we had to bundle up...
and then we all did a turn as the Beatles on Abbey Road...
Later in the afternoon it was time for a nap and a game of Monopoly (I won, hands down)
We finished off the day with a wonderful Christmas dinner of ham, cabbage and sweet potatoes (and wine and Christmas crackers, of course!)
Hope everyone else had a very Merry Christmas too! Wish we could have been in California and Georgia, both, today!!
