St Nicholas Day - We started the day with two treats. One from Beatrice and one from Grandma Mary Ann and Cousin Eleanor. Beatrice's treat for us was sleeping straight from midnight to 4am and then again from 5am to 9am. Ah...such a wonderful child. The other was a St Nick's package full of goodies for Beatrice and parents alike - almonds, cookies, a Christmas ornament (Zack and Beatrice had fun with it for a while - it has a bell!), an advent calendar, and more of Eleanor's adorable clothes. We're going to play dress up soon.
Other than that...it was a wonderfully slow day full of resting and laundry
I did want to share some fantastic pictures of Beatrice's California family toasting her on her birthday - pictured are Grandpa Glen, Grandma Mary Ann, Aunt Megan and Cousin Eleanor (Uncle Colby is taking the picture). We're looking forward to their visit out here at the New Year! We're expecting Eleanor to teach Beatrice a trick or two...such as how to down "champagne" with gusto.
