The All American Girl enjoyed her first 4th of July celebrations in true (Southern) American style.
- Morning dip in the pool
BBQ for lunch
and another BBQ for dinner at Nancy and Lee's house, where we kept the bugs at bay with a homemade water jug (Mom and Marshall swore by its effectiveness, but the rest of us wondered), sat out in their beautiful backyard, ate fantastic BBQ and trimmings, and PUZZLED the night away. Party animals.
Other than that we've just been hanging out and enjoying the relative cool for Georgia in July - it's only been in the 80s and 90s! And Beatrice has been getting some fantastic babysitting...
