Today is Cousin Eleanor's 2nd Birthday! To celebrate Beatrice spent some extra time "looking" at her picture and singing Happy Birthday To You. (Unfortunately, like her mother, Beatrice is not the best singer) While we're all very sad to miss the big do next weekend, we're very happy that we can crash her 3rd birthday party next year!
Beatrice had a tough Sunday afternoon - I fully expected her head to start spinning and flames to shoot out of her ears at one point. We finally had to resort to TV - here's Bea enjoying the latest movie version of Pride and Prejudice. She especially liked the dancing scenes. (Please note, I'm not actually a Jane Austen addict, we just don't have that many DVDs and Sunday afternoon is particularly bad for TV in the UK)
Anyway, after a full 3 minutes TV lost its appeal, and Beatrice moved on to trying to eat the remote. But finally, finally after hours and hours sans nap...one hour and 45 minutes of sleep for our little one. Angel baby.
We think we may have figured out the bad mood ... she bruised my elbow by gumming it, and Zack is convinced he saw white below the gumline ... teething!
Tonight in the bath Beatrice told me she wanted to put those Britney-Spears-baldness rumors to rest, so I got out the camera and took a few pictures. The first is B with her washcloth on her head, as you do. The second shows her locks in mohawk style (squint real hard and you can see it)
