"Bon Weekend"

We spent a wonderful two+ days in southern France with Alexis, Amy and Adrien at their new house. And while Beatrice didn't actually learn to walk...little April Fool's joke...she did enjoy herself immensely.

We arrived very late Friday night. Beatrice enjoyed her first plane ride. Sort of. The carseat we rented ... not so much.

But Saturday was lovely. We relaxed, watched the kids "playing", and had a grand dinner of homemade crepes.

Amy, Adrien, Beatrice and I went for a walk to the next village over in the afternoon, while Zack and Alexis hit the hardware store. Even in the rain it was a great change from London!

On Sunday Beatrice did attempt to stand after watching Adrien walking constantly (the one below is not photoshopped!)
After a relaxing morning at home we decided to drive to Andorra to see the sights and chalk up another country to Beatrice's visited list! www.andorra.com/uk/infogen/info.asp
Andorra is an interesting little country. Beatrice most enjoyed it as pit-stop and the perfect place for a diaper change! Unfortunately neither of the littlest two enjoyed the drive back home very much.

As they say in France, it was a "bon weekend"!
