Georgia On My Mind

We made it! We've been in Georgia almost a full week now. While we're not exactly tan, we are relaxed and ready for our second week of vacation. It's a tough life, but somebody's got to do it. Beatrice has loved every minute with her grandparents. She is adjusting to the Southern way of life ... with banjo hour (above), and porch swinging (below), ...
...eating watermelon on the porch with Jackson and James ("Jays" is Beatrice's first love), and watching Molly eat ("Mimi" kitty has replaced "Mah" - she asks for Mimi every hour at least 3 or 4 hundred times)

We've also had fun dressing Beatrice up. The photo above is a dress Grandma Elizabeth made me (after renaming Molly Kitty "Mimi" and saying "Jays" immediately, Beatrice finally whispered "Granma" on Wednesday). I wore it when I was 2.5 years old!

The best part about coming to St Simons for so long is that we're all remembering how to relax... and find all of the airvents in the house because it is HOT, HOT, HOT here.
