We had a great day celebrating Graham's 28th (gulp!) birthday with him. We joined him for a lovely lunch at Murphy's downtown. And Mama and Dada babysat Beatrice (THANK YOU!) so Mom, Dad, Graham and I could go out to dinner on Krog Street, one block over from our old house in Atlanta. It's still crazy to think you can go out to a fancy restaurant on KROG Street...the place you wouldn't even let stray dogs go back in the day. But boy oh boy was it good - www.rathbunsrestaurant.com
Beatrice and I also went to visit with my friend Carolyn and play with her little boys, Liam (2) and Ben (8mo). Beatrice had a blast with them, and Carolyn and I had fun catching up. Even if we did it amidst diaper changes, feedings, and general baby madness.
Beatrice enjoyed supper with Mama and Dada ("Ma!... Da!"). She was relatively good for them. In that she's related to them, so that they thought she was good. Goodness, getting back to normal will be tough next week! Especially without her adoring audience!
