"Mini Me" & a trip

Today we had to say goodbye to Grandpa Glen. He started calling Beatrice "Mini Me" - after her resemblance to...Zack, of course. We also had fun dressing up Beatrice in all of her 'new' of clothes from Eleanor - Glen particularly liked the Mary Jane socks on Beatrice, as he had given them to her. And the little blue outfit is one we bought Eleanor in London! The big box arrived from Oakland, so for the next 3 months Beatrice will be well kitted out. Of course she's wearing some 3-6 month old clothes already...

On Saturday we all made the long trek out to Norwich. Beatrice's first "big" trip! 100+ miles, so I think that counts. We bundled her up in her snowsuit, and she slept the whole way there and back. Isn't she cute? (ps - she is smiling more, but I had to take a zillion photos to capture this semi-smile, semi-grimace, poor child...)
Norwich is an interesting town. We visited the 900 year old Cathedral, toured some of the older streets (loved the bending houses around Tombsland), and ate in the closest thing we could find to a pub. Strangely there seem to be very few pubs in Norwich but LOTS of malls and shops. Very odd for England. I should've taken a picture of the mall where we parked - it was almost American in its space and large numbers of sullen teenagers skulking about.
It was hard to say goodbye to Grandpa Glen (Beatrice cried), but he was glad to see her grow and change this week into a very alert, and very big, little baby Zack-"Mini Me"!
