Cooing at Grandma(s)

Beatrice finally got to meet her Grandma Mary Ann this week. They cooed at each other quite a bit and then Beatrice got really comfortable with her and curled up for a nap. Beatrice has been much more active recently and cooing is a new daily activity for her. Still very few smiles to be had (and thus too few dimples!!), but there are a couple a day at least. The cooing is very cute though. She really gets going when she is alone. Almost as if she's saying, "Hey I can make noises too, just like all those people who keep playing with me". She even managed one or two when we Skyped with Grandma Elizabeth and Grandpa Bill, and Eleanor pointed out Daddy, Nanna, Auntie Sarah, Uncle Zack and BABY! to them.

Megan, Colby and Eleanor are moving over to stay with Mary Ann and Glen in the wonderful flat Glen designed in Mayfair. We are going to miss them! Even the 3am girls crying in stereo...but we'll be able to visit lots. Beatrice and Eleanor did share their first bus ride in London together. Beatrice slept through hers (surprise, surprise), but Eleanor really liked it.

On Friday we also went to visit Daddy's office. Beatrice was so excited she fell asleep (again). Then we all took him out for coffee, and Eleanor entertained us as always. Then it was a nice dinner in the Mayfair flat and more visiting time for the adults.

Beatrice and Daddy spent some quality staring at each other time (very) late Friday night. Seems someone wanted to stay up...
