Zach & I joined John & Jas (and 12 others from the wedding!) for 4 fabulous days on safari in Sabi Sand Game Reserve. Wow. We have over 500 photos!
And except for a few tense hours when Zack had a high fever, it was a perfect trip. Much to both our surprise, we had a wonderful time WITHOUT Beatrice and even managed to make it through seven days without her. [Though I will admit, I was counting down the final 48 hours!]
We saw the Big 5, and lots of little creatures too thanks to our guide Zwai. Morning game drive at 5:30am, breakfast at 9am, rest, lunch at 1pm, rest, snack at 4pm, game drive at 4:30pm, and then dinner at 8pm. Amazing sites mixed with good food and great friends!
We kicked off the trip with a truly African meal - complete with facepaint! As always, J&J were perfect hosts throughout the trip.

Wow! Did you ACTUALLY take that picture of the cheetah? We only saw 4 of the big 5 at Kruger. What a great trip that must have been for you. (BTW, Kruger for us was just 3 days before we visited you in London.) Zack, hope the fever was nothing. Sounds scary. Hope all 3 of you are well!
Will
