Cookies & new words

Beatrice and Sarah B made cookies today.  I'm not entirely sure I understand why it was a pants-less activity, but it was.  At least for Beatrice.

A snippet of a conversation from last night that I had with Beatrice:

Mommy:  "Beatrice, are you lining up those wooden bowls?"

Beatrice:  "Oh goodness." [Lines up another bowl]

Beatrice:  "Oh goodness." [Lines up another bowl]

Mommy:  "Beatrice, who taught you to say 'goodness'?"

Beatrice:  "Mama.  Oh goodness." [Another bowl]

As a bowl falls off the table...

Beatrice:  "Oh shit."

Mommy:  "Um..." [I did my best not to laugh.  I didn't ask who she learned that one from!  Afraid to know the answer]
