Olivier, Randie, Annabelle, Gabe, and Natalie came to visit with us this weekend. Annabelle (10) and Gabe (8) had swim meets on Saturday and Sunday in Santa Barbara, so the whole family came up to stay with us. We had a great time. Beatrice was on Cloud 9 the ENTIRE TIME!
She certainly had fun with all of the kids, but I'm afraid "Gabey, Gabey, Gib, Gib, Gib, Gib, Gib" was her favorite. Luckily Gabe has two sisters and so took it all in stride.
And Annabelle was a fantastic babysitter the entire weekend. Beatrice just adored Natalie, who at 6, was best able to really play with Beatrice.
Of course we dragged them to the Presidio in Santa Barbara for some touristing (it's on the list, so it must be done!). They took it all in stride. Watching the kids all together definitely made me want to have more little ones. That and at this rate Beatrice is going to be spoiled rotten if we don't figure out a way to stop catering to her every need! And the Chaine kids are so sweet all together.
The non-swim meet part of the weekend was super relaxing. We must learn from the people with 3 children how to chill at home!
