Mission La Purisma Concepcion

On Friday afternoon we went to Mission La Purisma Concepcion. It is one of the more remote Missions in California. It was HOT, so we got to appreciate the cool shade offered by the long porches.

Beatrice enjoyed all the animals - we saw lots of cows on the drive up. ("Mooooo." Frantic pointing) And once there we spent lots of time looking at the sheep and goats. Beatrice was very impressed.

On Saturday we drove down to LA for Great Aunt Betty's memorial. It was a very nice party at Patrice's house. Beatrice got very comfortable at the end of the party (she ate and bathed in a blueberry muffin - see below).

And gave a great big kiss to her Grandpa Glen!
