Today Beatrice had her first photo shoot. Not really...we tagged along with Nancy to Kaitlyn's senior year photo shoot - at sunrise on Driftwood Beach on Jekyll Island. It was beautiful, and not too hot until the end. Unfortunately we won't be here to see the heavy equipment photo shoot they're planning on doing (picture the whole family on a 2 ton piece of heavy machinery...I can't wait!) Beatrice had a great time playing in the water, watching Kaitlyn being photographed, eating sand (lots of it), and even napping for the last hour in her stroller. What the way to start the day! Now that I've traveled far and wide I feel I can say with some authority - south Georgia is such a beautiful place. Definitely worth a visit (hint, hint Jas)
We had to say some more goodbyes recently - to Graham and Mama & Dada, they all headed back to Atlanta today. Beatrice is trying to readjust to having a smaller fan club. We have had some visitors too, which is helping keep her feeling loved (said with heavy sarcasm)...Lindsay, Kathie and Kevin, and Mary too.
And of course we've been lounging in our pool out back. Some of us have taken to skinny dipping...
