Weekend Away

Zack and I had quite the wild weekend - his company's Christmas party on Friday night in Santa Barbara and then my company's party in LA at Sky Bar on Saturday. Very fancy. Very fun. And we spent a whole 24 hours away from Beatrice! Parts of it were hard, but not the part where we both slept in until SEVEN AM!

Besides, Beatrice had a blast with Sarah B. They partied all weekend. Beatrice even got some extra Bunny time.

Right before we got home on Sunday morning, Sarah B called to say that she and Beatrice had been playing the "door game" (B's new thing is to close a door, have you knock, and then open it and smile at you...and then repeat 700 times). Anyway, she kept closing the door and then Sarah B said she could hear her talking to something, similar to how she talks to Bunny before she goes to sleep. So she peeked around the door and saw that Beatrice had my ID badge from work, which has my picture, and she was holding it and talking to it. So cute. It took all my willpower not to drive home at 100mph. Plus Zack was driving and he rightly refused.

This afternoon we went out and got a Christmas tree. Please note Zack is wearing shorts.
