This picture doesn't even begin to capture it. The waves were huge. The bottom of the steps were in the ocean. As I drove south for work, I had to drive through the spray from the waves - it looked like fog it was so thick. You should've seen the surfers. To quote one I overheard, "Dude...wow. Seriously." I thought he captured the moment perfectly.
In other news Beatrice is happy. If teething. This picture was taken right after she said "Hi" to one of my work colleagues on the phone. I held up the phone and said, "Say 'hi' Bea" and she said "Hi" and went on her way. Amazing.
