We officially moved into our new home today! We only started packing up in London 3.5 months ago...ugh. Beatrice and Zack & I all have beds, though we can't find sheets yet, so given that, and the fact that we don't want to make Grandma Elizabeth sleep on the floor, we're still in our rented place for a while yet. But all of our stuff from Oakland is now packed sky-high in the garage. (ah, we have a GARAGE!)
More news and pictures of the house will come once I have high speed internet access again. Until then our first day can be summed up with:
* we unpacked the truck
* we are tired
* Beatrice is not particularly helpful when it comes to unpacking
* Grandma Elizabeth is extremely helpful at unpacking, cleaning and taking care of Princess
* we expect to start sleeping there Tuesday or Wednesday
* we saw John Cleese at our local grocery store when we picked up lunch (!!!!) - no, we didn't harrass him, though Beatrice was doing her silly walking when he walked by
* our stuff from London will hopefully arrive in the next two weeks
* it is going to take a long time to settle in...but it is going to be so much FUN!
