Hot fun in the summertime

We're in Georgia again, and boy is it ever HOT. I feel like my eyeballs are melting. Beatrice and I traveled down to St Simons Island from LAX on Sunday night. Graham drove us to the airport (it only took 5 hours due to 4 lanes of a 4 lane highway being closed!). We arrived safe and sound, though only 1 of us slept any on the red eye flight. The grandparents picked us up; the great-grandparents let us play in their pool. We've played with the boys across the street, and Beatrice has been "angel baby" for days now - sleeping 14 hours, playing alone for an hour with just Tupperware and teddy bears, smiling at everyone, wearing her new blue dress Grandma Elizabeth made (the flowers are made of buttons for Miss Pinchy Fingers to worry to death). Today most of us, Uncle Harry included, made the trek over to Jekyll Island for lunch at the Crane Cottage. www.jekyllisland.com, www.jekyllclub.com

And two photos of our last few minutes in SB...watching our new TV.
