Clapping!

Beatrice just learned to clap this morning. And everything is worth clapping over - toys, Mommy coming in to pick her up after a nap, a new diaper, clothes, Grandma Elizabeth's voice on the phone, and anything else that strikes her fancy. It is ridiculously cute.

In other news we are back in Santa Barbara from Georgia. Zack joined us on St Simons on Friday and we all headed back together to LAX on Sunday. Thank goodness he did as Beatrice was a WIGGLE WORM on the flight. She charmed our fellow passengers, as wiggling is a quiet activity, but not her parents. Unfortunately I left the cable that transfers pictures from the camera to the computer in Georgia, so we have to wait for SSI Part II and more pictures of Beatrice until the cord arrives here.

Also found out that our shipment of stuff from London arrived in the port of LA last week. Now we just have to wait for it to get through Customs and be transfered to the shippers. Then we have to wait for them to call us to make an appt to deliver it here. Blah. I'm ready now. But in good news the new couch and chairs we ordered for the living room should arrive on Thursday! Expect lots of pictures of our first REAL FURNITURE purchase!!

I LOVED it when Chase learned to clap. The first thing she would do when she woke up in the morning or from a nap - was clap! It's awesome. And it's only the beginning. The little darlings just get cuter and cuter - and more and more fun.
