Big girl pillow-bed

It was a big weekend for Beatrice.  She got a pillow and comforter for her bed.  "Big girl bed" as she calls it.

Now she really is our lazy teenager, telling us "Wait, wait" when we come to get her up from her nap.

Grandpa Glen also joined us for breakfast today.  We showed off our newly uncovered backyard (literally, with a rake, broom and heavy tree-cutting equipment).  One of these days we'll finish.

Beatrice has also taken to giving her dolls "uppies", which consists of her picking them up and holding them.  Today I had to give both Beatrice and Baby Jake an 'uppie'.  Also, Anna and Eleanor also stopped by with Grandma Mary Ann.  Bouncy girls!

ps - know how Beatrice says 'yellow'?  "Yey-yo" or "LLello", for those in California.
