Pre-Thanksgiving prep

We got ready for Thanksgiving by watching Grandma Elizabeth cook. (We're so helpful)

We arrived on the overnight flight from LAX into Jacksonville at 6:30am. The highlight of the drive up to St Simons Island, besides sunrise over the marshes, was Beatrice sitting forward in her carseat. Wow. Big girl. She was suitably impressed.
Beatrice was very excited to see her grandparents, ecstatic to see Molly-Kitty, and over the moon to see a new play area just for her all laid out. She even had a floor mat and little iron table, which Old Granddaddy made - Grandma Elizabeth had her first birthday pictures taken with it! (Grandma Elizabeth was bigger than Beatrice!)
We had a nice relaxing day. Lunch out in The Village at the new BBQ place (yum). A trip to the park at the Pier, where we ran into Tom and Selma and their grandkids. Daddy stepped on a pop top and lost his flip flop and walked around The Village barefoot - classy.

The end of the day was a bit wild. We all played "dress up Beatrice in a funny outfit and take pictures of her" - I love this game.
