We went to Daddy's office ("The brown one? The tall building? That Daddy's office? You sure Mommy??" from the backseat) for a lunchtime Halloween party. Once again Beatrice had a blast. And once again she decided to wear her skunk costume. Well, she did change out of it halfway through the party.
Daddy's office is so fun because you get to park, ride an elevator and escalator to the big elevators, then go all the way up to the 50th floor, and then people give you tons of CANDY!
And did I mention the TVs everywhere? And phones? Not to mention the view, wow. Beatrice had lunch on the desk. Then she decided to work the phones. Trading or telesales, we're not sure.
So the only bad part of the day - the Bay Bridge has been closed for a few days. And since I can't handle the more-than-two-blocks-walk to BART, we drove the long way round across the Richmond/San Rafael and Golden Gate bridges. The ride in was ok - about an hour. The ride home nearly did me in - an hour and 45 minutes. Luckily Beatrice napped and I managed not to pee that entire time. Shocking, considering at 8.5 months pregnant I pretty much go hourly.
