Beatrice commentary

My favorite observations from Beatrice today:

"Bea say 'oopsies', adults say 'shit'"

"Jakey my 'pecial doll.  Adults no touch him."

"Bunny a big girl.  Bebe a big girl.  Same."

Happy Mother's Day

I found this on the camera...so sweet (even with prompting).

Tub fun

These three had SO MUCH FUN in the tub together tonight.  I had fun getting them to pose as Hear No, Speak No and See No Evil.  He, he, he.

They actually tasted pretty good too.

Going to work

Beatrice told Sarah B she was going to "work" and needed to get dressed.  The video is very long, and you have to turn your head to view it, but the grandparents will love it.  I realize after watching it that nothing in my house matches anything else.  Perhaps that is where B gets her fashion sense...though I would never wear those shoes.
Beatrice also tried out a side ponytail this week.  And kitted herself out in a hat and gloves (it was 70 degrees...)

3 feet tall!

Beatrice is officially three feet tall!  Last weigh-in was around 32lbs.  I have no idea where that puts her on official charts, but I just checked my baby book and I wasn't 3 feet tall until I was a bit over 3 years old.  Of course Zach was probably 3' tall when he was 18 months...
In honor of her recent growth spurt, we changed her high chair into a chair.  Beatrice enjoyed helping Daddy.  Like her outfit?  Wow.

Since returning from Georgia it's been wet and cold here.  We spent some time last week watching the snails come out.
And this weekend Beatrice spent lots of time with Daddy.  I didn't manage to capture the 5 minutes of "Daddy dimple, Bebe dimple" but this is still pretty cute.

"Update mine"

Yesterday was our first full day back from a long and wonderful trip to Atlanta.  Beatrice and I spent a week there, while Zach went "shishing" (fishing) with Grandpa, Ryan, Colby, and about 10 other men.  Yesterday, Bea and I spent the morning getting back into the swing of things ... cleaning, doing laundry, catching up on our various blogs.
One of the last ones I check is Jasandra's blog, saving it as a treat just in case it is updated.  I said to Beatrice:  "Jas needs to update her blog."
Then we opened up Beatrice's blog.  Bea looked at me and said, "Update mine."
